Engineering Design Showcase 2024

On April 26, undergraduate students in civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and graduate students in healthcare systems engineering presented their capstone projects projects to industry representatives, alumni and the Loyola Marymount University community. These ambitious projects, a requirement for engineering graduates, ranged from prototypes of robotic fish to self-driving cars to the study of marine mussels. The projects addressed solving a wide range of problems across disciplines, but all required teamwork, time management, and presentation skills as well.
